Fort George Brewery
Built on the site of Fort Clatsop — where Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery spent the winter of 1805–06 — Fort George Brewery has anchored Astoria's cultural renaissance since 2007. Their 1811 Lager, Vortex IPA, and rotating Lovell Ales barrel program have put this northernmost Oregon coastal city on the craft beer map. The multi-building downtown complex includes a brewery, pub, pizzeria, and rooftop deck overlooking the Columbia River.
